Greenberg Glusker today announced that it has elected Ryan Mamoru Tofukuji Iwasaka to the status of Partner.

Mr. Iwasaka is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Group and its Climate Change & Sustainability Group. He represents clients involved in a wide variety of segments of the real estate industry including industrial facilities, golf courses, restaurants and hotels, office buildings, regional malls, retail complexes and multifamily residential developments. He has represented clients including Costco Wholesale Corporation, the owners of the Oakland Athletics baseball franchise, and high-profile luxury home developers.
Mr. Iwasaka advises private individuals, public and privately held corporations and investment funds. He has represented clients in acquisition and leasing matters, as well as borrowers and lenders in conventional and syndicated financing transactions.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Claremont McKenna College, Iwasaka received a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from the college and was named a Rhodes Scholar in 1994.
He earned a Juris Doctorate from Yale Law School and a Master of Arts in Political Science from Yale Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, and he served as law clerk to the Hon. Kim McLane Wardlaw of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Iwasaka currently serves on the board of governors of the Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies.
