Greenberg Glusker today announced that it has elected Ricardo P. Cestero and Matt Galsor to the status of Partner.

"Both have demonstrated the highest level of integrity, outstanding legal prowess within their areas of expertise, and dedication to providing excellent client service.”
Ricardo P. Cestero is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Group. He represents a diverse group of clients in entertainment, real estate and business disputes, with particular expertise in First Amendment issues, such as defamation and restraint of speech, as well as extensive experience handling motion picture and television production and distribution disputes. Mr. Cestero recently assisted the Firm’s client, “Lord of the Dance” star Michael Flatley, in winning a landmark ruling from the California Supreme Court under the anti-SLAPP statute and then obtaining an $11 million judgment in a civil extortion and defamation case. Mr. Cestero received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Oberlin College and his Juris Doctorate from UCLA School of Law.
Matt Galsor is a member of the Firm’s Entertainment Group. He represents actors, directors, writers, and producers in their dealings with studios, networks, and production companies. He recently assisted the Firm’s clients, Tom Cruise and Philip Seymour Hoffman, in negotiating agreements for their next films. In addition to established talent, Mr. Galsor’s practice includes an exceptional group of young artists. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from University of California, Los Angeles and his Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School.
