Candace Carlo chairs Greenberg Glusker's Entertainment Group. Recently recognized by the Daily Journal as one of California's "Top 75 Women Transactional Attorneys" and by the Los Angeles Business Journal as a "Who's Who in Entertainment Law," Ms. Carlo is an entertainment transactional attorney with a unique combination of significant in-house experience at major motion picture studios, along with wide-ranging representation of talent at the highest level in the private sector.
While at Columbia Pictures and TriStar Pictures, Ms. Carlo negotiated contracts for some of the most successful motion pictures in history, such as “Jerry Maguire,” “Men In Black,” “My Best Friend’s Wedding,” and “Jumanji.” She has also used her unique expertise and insight to represent major motion picture talent in films such as “Pirates of the Caribbean" series, “Batman” series, "Megamind," and "Inception."
In addition to her extensive experience in all aspects of motion picture production, Ms. Carlo has in-depth knowledge of motion picture financing, having handled over $500 million in multi-picture production financing agreements, along with numerous multi-million dollar co-financing arrangements among major motion picture studios, including Columbia Pictures, TriStar Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Disney, Universal and Twentieth Century Fox.
Ms. Carlo also has substantial experience in the increasingly important motion picture industries in China and India.
