Sidney Machtinger, who has retired after more than 40 years with Greenberg Glusker, focused on tax and estate matters.

Sid was a trial lawyer for the Internal Revenue Service, handling tax cases for the office of Chief Counsel in Washington, D.C. for three years and for the Regional Counsel’s office in Los Angeles for four years.

After leaving the Internal Revenue Service and entering private practice, Sid represented clients in tax controversy matters and advised clients regarding individual, corporate, trust and estate matters.
