Sid Machtinger, who has retired after more than 40 years with Greenberg Glusker, specialized in tax and estate matters.

Mr. Machtinger was a trial lawyer for the Internal Revenue Service, handling tax cases for the office of Chief Counsel in Washington, D.C. for three years and for the Regional Counsel’s office in Los Angeles for four years.

After leaving the Internal Revenue Service and entering private practice, he represented clients in tax controversy matters and advised clients regarding individual, corporate, trust and estate matters.
