Lori Werderitch is experienced in representing plaintiffs and defendants in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts nationwide. Her practice includes pre-litigation counseling, law and motion, management of discovery, alternative dispute resolution, enforcement of judgments, and appeals, in the areas of general commercial, employment, entertainment, environmental, intellectual property, and real estate litigation.
Lori's experience includes representing and advising Los Angeles World Airports concerning labor law regulations and the negotiation of its tenancy contracts; appearing before the California Labor Commissioner; facilitating favorable settlement terms in employment disputes on behalf of defendant employers; advising national corporations on environmental regulatory compliance, including Proposition 65 and CEQA; negotiating with local governments regarding the clean-up and remediation of a CERCLA site; and, representing studios in participation matters and before the International Film & Television Alliance.
Her appellate practice includes the California Courts of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as a successful opposition to writ of certiorari submitted on behalf of an international internet search engine to the Supreme Court of Georgia.
During law school, Lori served as a Senior Fellow for the Legal Research and Writing Program, a national competitor for the Moot Court Appellate Team and as a member of the Moot Court Board. Lori also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Thomas A. Varlan in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.
Prior to joining Greenberg Glusker, Lori worked as an associate for a large Los Angeles-based firm. She and her husband reside in West Los Angeles with their dogs, Jaime and Sawyer.
