Representative Experience

  • Negotiated for The Foothills Group the sale of multiple lots at MacDonald Ranch in Henderson, Nevada to Toll Brothers. Transaction included provisions for the completion of infrastructure improvements, grading and utilities.
  • Structured a joint venture agreement for TriCal Construction with State Farm Insurance for the development of an 89-unit condominium project in West Los Angeles, California.
  • Represented Goldrich & Kest Industries in the development of a 224-unit, high-rise condominium complex in Marina del Rey, California.
  • Advised a buyer in the syndication, acquisition and financing of two residential projects totaling 442 units. Transaction involved one tier of senior conduit debt and two tiers of private equity debt, allowing the client to leverage approximately 90 percent of the acquisition price.
  • Represented the seller of a portfolio of five apartment complexes in Southern California and the defeasance of existing conduit financing to facilitate the sale.
  • Represented The Empire Company in the sale of two apartment complexes, totaling approximately 450 units, in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties to NYSTRS.
  • Counseled Griffin Investments Inc. in the acquisition and financing of numerous multi-family residential properties in Southern California, totaling approximately 3,000 units with an aggregate purchase price of approximately $365 million.
