Greenberg Glusker LLP is pleased to announce the promotion of Lora Cicconi and Alla Savranskaia to partner effective January 1, 2017.

Lora Cicconi

Named by SuperLawyers as a Southern California Super Lawyer in 2016, and a Rising Star in 2015, Cicconi focuses her Corporate practice on income taxation of individuals, partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations. She has worked on the tax aspects of a variety of transactional matters, including entity formation, public and private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, tax-deferred reorganizations, and equity incentive compensation. Cicconi has also assisted nonprofit clients in securing section 501(c)(3) status and ongoing compliance issues. In addition, she has represented veterans on a pro bono basis in their efforts to obtain increased disability benefits and military discharge upgrades.

Cicconi earned her law degree from UCLA School of Law, UCLA Law Review, Order of the Coif, in 2007 as well as a BA in Economics from Stanford University in 2000. From 2007-2008, she served as a Law Clerk for Judge Cynthia Holcomb Hall, 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Alla Savranskaia

Recognized by Variety as one of Hollywood's emerging dealmakers and listed for the past several years as a Southern California Rising Star by SuperLawyers, Savranskaia is now a partner in the firm’s Entertainment practice group where she handles a broad range of transactions for motion pictures, television and new media. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Savranskaia spent a decade producing award-winning documentaries and non-fiction programming for various broadcasters, including PBS, National Geographic and Discovery Channel. Her rich production experience enables her to naturally combine legal expertise and business perspectives in advising her clients ranging from emerging talent to large production companies.

“It’s an honor to be practicing at Greenberg Glusker alongside some of the finest attorneys in California,” said Savranskaia.  “I’m thrilled and delighted to accept this promotion, and look forward to serving my clients in this new capacity.”

Savranskaia graduated from UCLA School of Law, Order of the Coif, in 2008 and received a bachelor’s degree in film studies from the Russian State Film Institute, the oldest film school in the world.
