Greenberg Glusker Prevails in Unlawful Detainer Action Against Art Gallery Tenant
Real Estate Litigation Partner Ann Lee prevailed in an unlawful detainer action against a tenant operating an art gallery on the client’s property in violation of multiple building and safety codes. The gallery’s conduct not only jeopardized public safety but also exposed the client to potential criminal liability. After the client prevailed, the gallery sought extraordinary relief, asserting it acted in good faith and claiming it would suffer severe hardship if evicted.
Ann secured critical evidence to defeat the gallery’s last-ditch effort to avoid eviction.
