Brandon Jackson is an attorney in Greenberg Glusker’s Corporate, Finance & Securities, Intellectual Property & Technology, and Video Games, Streaming & Esports Practice Groups.
Brandon represents clients in a wide variety of general corporate and transactional matters, including mergers & acquisitions, equity financings, and outside general counsel work. His clients include media networks such as Anthem Sports & Entertainment, AXS TV, and HDNet. Brandon was also recently involved with the Barstool Sports/Penn National Gaming transaction.
Brandon’s experience spans the media and tech industries, as he developed and launched the iOS app Howlyr. Before coming to Greenberg Glusker, Brandon worked in acquisitions, international sales, and licensing for a Los Angeles-based film and television production and distribution company. He subsequently worked in the legal department at GoPro in Silicon Valley, where he worked with the Corporate M&A, IP and Brand Protection, and Entertainment teams. Brandon also worked in Legal and Business Affairs at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Brandon currently serves on the Advisory Board of Rumble Gaming, a Toronto-based gaming talent agency and content distribution company with a roster of over 300 professional esports teams, players, venues, streamers, and content creators.
Brandon graduated summa cum laude from UCLA as a double major and received his J.D. from UC Berkeley School of Law. At Berkeley Law, Brandon served as the Managing Editor of the Berkeley Business Law Journal, Deputy Editor in Chief of the Berkeley Journal of Entertainment and Sports Law, and the President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
