Corporate Partner Andrew Apfelberg will be a moderator for the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole's Busi­ness Fun­da­men­tals Series, taking place on February 11, 2026, in Jackson, Wyoming. 

Session Description: 

The Busi­ness Fun­da­men­tals Series con­tin­ues in 2026 with a sin­gle day of mini-pan­els to show­case the exper­tise of cor­po­rate and non­prof­it lead­ers and the shared top­ics, strate­gies, and lessons learned from these diverse back­grounds. This spring’s dis­cus­sion top­ics will address Orga­ni­za­tion­al Growth. Fea­tured pre­sen­ters will be joined by addi­tion­al rep­re­sen­ta­tives from local non­prof­its who will share expe­ri­ences and enter­tain ques­tions and dis­cus­sion on the fol­low­ing top­ic areas:

  • Top­ic #1 - Organ­ic Growth – orga­ni­za­tions grow organ­i­cal­ly as they receive new fund­ing, strive to meet com­mu­ni­ty need, and enter into part­ner­ships, col­lab­o­ra­tions, or joint ven­tures. This dis­cus­sion will fea­ture indus­try best prac­tices, case stud­ies, and local exper­tise for max­i­miz­ing resources and enabling growth through col­lab­o­ra­tion and partnership.
  • Top­ic #2 — Trans­ac­tion­al Growth — orga­ni­za­tions grow trans­ac­tion­al­ly through merg­ers or oth­er exter­nal expan­sion. This dis­cus­sion will high­light indus­try best prac­tices, case stud­ies, and local exper­tise for con­sid­er­ing a merger.
  • Top­ic #3 - Risk Man­age­ment and Legal Con­sid­er­a­tions for Growth (how to avoid falling back­ward as your orga­ni­za­tion moves for­ward) – As orga­ni­za­tions grow, so does their expo­sure to risk. Pan­elists will advise on min­i­miz­ing risk, access­ing legal guid­ance, and ensur­ing that your orga­ni­za­tion is tak­ing the steps nec­es­sary for suc­cess­ful expansion.
