Greenberg Glusker Esports attorney, Brandon Jackson, will speak on the panel "The Business of Esports" at the 6th Annual Berkeley Law Sports and Entertainment Conference on November 5, 2020.
Berkeley Law’s Annual Sports & Entertainment Conference has become one of the Bay Area’s most recognized student-run sports and entertainment events of the year. For the first time, the 2020 conference will be held virtually and span the course of two days – bringing together industry elites to explore, unpack and debate the many developments within two dynamic fields. 2020 Speakers include: Jeffrey Harleston (Universal Music Group), Leigh Steinberg (Steinberg Sports & Entertainment), Dr. Damion Thomas (Smithsonian NMAAHC), Hannah Gordon (San Francisco 49ers), D’Lonra Ellis (Oakland Athletics).
Brandon represents clients in a wide variety of general corporate and transactional matters, including mergers & acquisitions, equity financings, and outside general counsel work. His clients include media networks such as Anthem Sports & Entertainment, AXS TV, and HDNet, and he was involved with the Barstool Sports/Penn National Gaming transaction. Brandon currently serves on the Advisory Board of Rumble Gaming, a Toronto-based gaming talent agency and content distribution company with a roster of over 300 professional esports teams, players, venues, streamers, and content creators.
