LOS ANGELES - Greenberg Glusker is pleased to announce the addition of Noah Perch-Ahern as a partner in the firm’s Environmental Department. Mr. Perch-Ahern has a broad national environmental and energy practice consisting of high stakes litigation, complex transactions, regulatory matters, and development projects.

His experience includes jury and bench trials relating to contaminated land, water resources, and water rights; litigation involving CERCLA, the Clean Water Act, and public utilities; NEPA and CEQA compliance strategies for renewable energy and industrial expansion projects; and compliance and regulatory counseling related to a large variety of energy and environmental matters such as air quality, wetlands, brownfields, cap and trade markets, and clean tech projects. Noah's clients include, amongst others, energy companies, water purveyors, and real estate and private equity investors.

“Greenberg Glusker’s environmental practice is thriving and I am excited to work with attorneys whom I have known and admired for years,” says Noah. “I look forward to contributing to the continued growth and practice of this collegial team, which is consistently being retained to handle important environmental matters inside and outside of California.”

The addition of Noah underscores the dynamism and growth of the firm's Environmental Department, which is frequently sought by clients in connection with leading environmental cases, including climate change litigation, major CERCLA cost recovery actions, high stakes regulatory issues, and Brownfields redevelopment.

“Noah has worked on a variety of leading-edge environmental matters. He is very adept at formulating creative solutions, and has a firm grasp of what companies need when there are sharply disputed environmental issues,” says Pete Nyquist, Chair of the firm's Environmental Practice Group. "His experience and reputation have already made an impact on our department, and we look forward to his influence as one of the firm's next-gen partners and leaders."

Benchmark Litigation named Noah to its 2018 '40 & Under Hot List,' and he was recognized as the 2018 'Next Generation Lawyer of the Year' by the Century City Bar Association. He is also recognized as one of the Southern California Super Lawyer 'Rising Stars'.

Noah’s accomplishments in the environmental and energy industries are reflected by his professional leadership, including his role as President of Young Professionals in Energy Los Angeles, his membership on the Boards of the Southern California Water Coalition (SCWC), Valley Industry and Commerce Association (VICA), and TreePeople, as well as his Chair responsibilities for VICA’s Environmental, Energy and Utilities Committee and Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce’s Water, Energy & Environmental Sustainability Council.
