This year’s gala is named after the Honorable Judge Billy G. Mills, Rtd., who was the first ever Black student to graduate from UCLA School of Law. The gala is held in conjunction with the UCLA School of Law Admissions’ Diversity Week, providing diverse students of the incoming class with an early introduction to members of the legal community that support inclusivity.
