Content to Commerce to Exit: The Mini Katana Playbook | VidCon Anaheim 2026

June 26, 202611:55 AM – 12:25 PM PT
Anaheim, CA
Eric Perlmutter-Gumbiner

Corporate Partner Eric Perlmutter-Gumbiner will speak on the panel, "Content to Commerce to Exit: The Mini Katana Playbook," alongside client Isaac Medeiros, CEO of Content Forge, as part of the Industry Track at VidCon Anaheim on June 26, 2026.

In this session, Eric will sit down with Isaac for an honest conversation about what it takes to build a creator-driven business from the ground up, scale it into a real company, and successfully exit.

Isaac started Mini Katana in 2021 with debt-funded inventory, a Facebook ad ban, and a hail mary TikTok strategy. He built it into a business with 30 million subscribers, 10 billion annual YouTube views, and $50M+ in product sales before selling to Reality Marble in one of the more compelling creator economy exits in recent memory. Eric represented Isaac through the transaction, bringing the legal and transactional perspective that helped get the deal done.

Together, they will walk through the full arc of the business: the early bets that turned a niche product into a viral commerce engine, how Isaac professionalized and scaled beyond a single platform, and what the exit process actually looked like from both sides of the table. Whether you are building, scaling, or already thinking about what comes next, this session delivers real lessons from the founder and the lawyer who lived it together.
