Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act has been described as 26 words that created the Internet. Now that we have the Internet, not everyone is convinced that Section 230 was a good idea, or that we still need this statutory protection, while others continue to champion it and think it remains as needed and valuable as ever. Our panel of experts from Congress, academia, and the law will tackle this debate, discussing what Section 230 does, the problem it solves, the problems that remain, and what would happen if it went away.
