This program will present an analysis of current state and local historic resource compliance requirements in light of recent law and policy changes affecting housing and development. The session will examine how evolving streamlining measures and housing mandates intersect with local preservation frameworks. Presenters will discuss best practices for historic resource management to support successful adaptive reuse and site revitalization within this changing regulatory environment, and will highlight recent case studies that illustrate emerging challenges, unintended consequences, and practical resolutions.
