Andrew Apfelberg and Eric Perlmutter-Gumbiner Named to 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Dealmakers in America

Greenberg Glusker Corporate Partners Andrew Apfelberg and Eric Perlmutter-Gumbiner have been selected to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Dealmakers in America list.

The recognition honors leading attorneys who have demonstrated exceptional skill and leadership in handling significant transactions across mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, finance, private equity, and other key areas of dealmaking.

Andrew Apfelberg is a corporate and finance attorney who advises middle-market companies throughout the United States on their most significant transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity and other financings, joint ventures, and licensing deals. He has considerable depth of experience in the branded consumer products and manufacturing and distribution industries, and also represents high-net-worth individuals and their family offices. Drawing on his business and finance background from USC’s Marshall School of Business and his prior work in investment banking, Andrew structures transactions and negotiates agreements to maximize value for his clients and increase the likelihood of getting the deal closed. A former President of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Los Angeles chapter, he also co-chairs ACG Los Angeles’ annual business conference, one of the largest conferences for the M&A community in the United States.

Eric Perlmutter-Gumbiner is a corporate and M&A attorney who advises founders, entrepreneurs, strategic acquirers, investors, family offices, private equity sponsors, and high-growth companies on their most significant transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, private equity and venture capital transactions, joint ventures, financings, and restructurings. He has particular depth in the consumer products, media, entertainment, technology, sports, and food and beverage industries, and frequently serves as outside general counsel to his clients. Drawing on his MBA from USC’s Marshall School of Business, earned alongside his J.D. from USC Gould School of Law, Eric combines elite transactional execution with practical, forward-looking judgment, anticipating issues before they become problems and keeping deals moving while protecting enterprise value.
