Brian Kang, Chair of Greenberg Glusker’s Real Estate Group, and Sheri Bonstelle, Chair of the Land Use & Development Practice, have been Named Top Real Estate & Development Lawyers by the Daily Journal for 2026. 

Brian Kang advises clients on a broad range of real estate transactions involving commercial, retail, multifamily and industrial properties. His practice encompasses acquisitions, dispositions, financing and leasing, representing real estate investors, developers, financial institutions, national universities and REITs. Beyond his legal practice, Kang is actively involved in the Los Angeles community, serving as pro bono real estate counsel to the Korean American National Museum. He has also served on the Board of Governors for the Korean American Bar Association of Southern California since 2013, including as President of KABA-SoCal in 2018.

Sheri L. Bonstelle brings a distinctive perspective to real estate law as both an attorney and licensed architect. As Chair of Greenberg Glusker’s Land Use & Development Practice, she guides complex development projects from property acquisition through entitlements, construction and litigation, with experience spanning mixed-use, residential, retail, office, industrial and historic properties. Bonstelle has worked on major projects including an 814-unit mixed use housing development project with 76,000 square feet of restaurant use that was exempt from CEQA under AB130. She also draws on her architectural background to advise on historic preservation and adaptive reuse projects, while helping clients navigate evolving housing, land use and environmental requirements throughout California.
