Greenberg Glusker Secures Settlement in High-Profile Santa Monica Condominium Dispute

Greenberg Glusker successfully represented the buyers in a complex real estate dispute involving a multimillion-dollar condominium transaction in Santa Monica. The matter centered on the seller’s refusal to close under the terms of a signed California Residential Purchase Agreement, leading to an arbitration proceeding to protect our clients’ interests and enforce their contractual rights.

The firm moved quickly to file suit and initiate arbitration, pursuing claims that included breach of contract, fraud, and negligent misrepresentation. Throughout the proceedings, Greenberg Glusker secured several significant procedural and discovery victories that strengthened the clients’ position and helped drive the matter toward resolution. On the first day of the arbitration hearing, the seller agreed to settle the matter before proceedings formally began, and the parties finalized a settlement agreement that same day.

“This was a challenging dispute with significant financial and legal issues at stake,” said Gregg Martin, Partner in the firm’s Real Estate Litigation Group and lead counsel for the buyer. “Our team stayed focused on protecting our clients’ interests and pursuing a strategic resolution, and we are very pleased with the outcome achieved.”

The Greenberg Glusker team was led by Gregg Martin, with support from associate Arron Pak.
