Judge dismisses CEQA lawsuit, clears way for proposed reservoir near Sacramento

Environmental Partner Sedina Banks was quoted in the Daily Journal regarding the CEQA challenge to the Sites Reservoir project.

"The Sites Reservoir project, as the first project to receive SB 149 certification, was a test case on the effectiveness of the law," said Sedina L. Banks, a partner in the Environmental Group with Greenberg Glusker LLP, who is not involved in the litigation. "It is a positive indicator of the efficacy of the law that the Yolo County Superior Court decided the CEQA challenge well before expiration of the 270-day time period. Only time will tell if other streamlined infrastructure projects will also be decided expeditiously or if timely decision will not be 'feasible'".
