Greenberg Glusker Real Estate Partners Sheri Bonstelle, Steve Lurie, and Gregg Martin have been selected to the L.A. Sheri L. Bonstelle brings a distinctive perspective to real estate law as both an attorney and licensed architect. As Chair of Greenberg Glusker’s Land Use & Development Practice, she guides complex development projects from property acquisition through entitlements, construction and litigation, with experience spanning mixed-use, residential, retail, office, industrial and historic properties. Bonstelle has worked on major projects including a one-million-square-foot mixed-use development in Downtown Los Angeles featuring a hotel, residential condominiums and commercial space. She also draws on her architectural background to advise on historic preservation and adaptive reuse, while helping clients navigate evolving housing, land use and environmental requirements throughout California.

Steven J. Lurie is a highly accomplished real estate attorney and trusted advisor to some of Southern California’s most successful developers and investors. Lurie strategizes with clients to help develop their short and long-term goals, and then does whatever it takes to help them achieve their objectives. As a client recently noted, “Steve possesses extraordinary legal skills, coupled with a strong knowledge of the real estate industry that one might not expect from a lawyer. Because of his great business sense, we not only depend on him for strictly legal matters that arise, but also business advice.” His recent work includes representing a developer client in construction and permanent loan transactions totaling over $825 million, and advising another client on matters exceeding $1 billion, including the acquisition of a seven-property multifamily portfolio containing 1,495 units. A longstanding member of the firm’s management committee, Lurie also serves on the board of the City of Hope Los Angeles Real Estate Council and is a recipient of The State Bar of California’s Pro Bono Award.

Gregg Martin is a seasoned trial attorney and litigation strategist who represents owners, developers, property managers, brokers and contractors in disputes involving commercial retail, office and industrial real estate assets. His practice encompasses real estate transactions, contracts and leasing disputes, property disputes and brokerage matters, and he has tried scores of cases throughout his career. Martin also advises clients in complex business disputes involving ownership, corporate governance, fiduciary duties, management and trade secrets.
