Three Greenberg Glusker Partners Selected to Los Angeles Business Journal's "Leaders of Influence: Banking & Finance" List

We are pleased to announce that three Greenberg Glusker Bankruptcy, Reorganization & Capital Recovery partners, Keith Patrick Banner, Uzzi Raanan, and Jonathan Shenson, have been selected to the Los Angeles Business Journal's "Leaders of Influence: Banking and Finance" list for 2026.

Keith Patrick Banner has spent 18 years developing a practice centered on business insolvency, distressed transactions and bankruptcy-related litigation including in the retail, entertainment, technology, and real estate sectors. He guides companies through the full spectrum of insolvency solutions, from out-of-court remedies such as assignment for the benefit of creditors to chapter 11 reorganizations and chapter 7 liquidations, while also representing bankruptcy trustees through complex investigations, asset sales and contentious litigation. Banner brings additional depth in fraudulent transfer and preference recovery actions, as well as mergers, acquisitions and private equity transactions. He serves on the board of the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum and holds memberships in the Financial Lawyers Conference and the American Bankruptcy Institute.

Uzzi Raanan advises individuals and entities on out-of-court workouts and complex insolvency matters. He draws on 34 years of experience, including representing bankruptcy trustees in cases such as the chapter 11 proceedings for Death Row Records and East Coast Foods, Inc. His practice includes representation of creditors, debtors, chapter 11 committees, court-appointed receivers, bankruptcy trustees, and asset purchasers (including in ABC transactions). Raanan’s practice includes commercial and bankruptcy-related litigation involving fraudulent transfers, preferences, nondischargeability, discharge, and claims disputes. He speaks and writes extensively on insolvency law matters and has served in a variety of leadership positions, including as President of the Beverly Hills Bar Foundation, member of the Board of Representatives of the California Lawyers Association, and Chair of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California.

Jonathan Shenson utilizes 30 years of industry experience to represent debtors, secured creditors and committees in high-stakes chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructures. Shenson possesses specialized expertise in Section 363 asset sales and fraudulent conveyance litigation, as well as navigating complex syndicated and subordinated credit transactions for private lenders and borrowers. He is a frequent lecturer at prominent industry forums, including the California Bankruptcy Forum and the American Bankruptcy Institute, where he addresses fiduciary duties and intellectual property issues in insolvency. He previously practiced within the bankruptcy and finance departments of an AmLaw 100 firm and served as a partner at a nationally recognized bankruptcy boutique.
