Laura Zwicker, Co-Chair of Greenberg Glusker's Private Client Services practice, is slated to speak on the "Do Trusts Work?" panel at the 18th Annual STEP Los Angeles International Tax & Estate Planning Forum: Solving International Challenges taking place June 1-2, 2026, in Rancho Palos Verdes. Session Details

This panel brings together U.S. and international practitioners to examine the effectiveness of trusts in family wealth planning from both domestic and cross-border perspectives. Panelists will discuss the advantages and limitations of trusts in their respective jurisdictions, including tax treatment and legal characterization of domestic and foreign trusts. The discussion will also explore the use of partnerships, corporations, and other alternative structures as tools for wealth management, transfer, and preservation.
