Los Angeles, CA - Benazeer “Benny” Roshan has joined Greenberg Glusker as a partner in the firm’s Private Client Services Department. Benny will be chairing the Trusts and Probate Litigation Group and comes to the firm with more than 15 years of litigation experience. Prior to joining Greenberg Glusker, Ms. Roshan headed the Trusts and Estates Litigation practice at Miller Barondess LLP.

“Our firm’s Private Client Services Department is thrilled to welcome an accomplished litigator with deep trusts and estate litigation experience who will be able to complement and support our planning and administration practices. Benny’s arrival will also allow us to expand our contentious trusts and estates practice that Marc Stern has steadily built over the last five years,” says Laura Zwicker, partner and Chair of the firm’s Private Client Services Department.

Ms. Roshan is an experienced trial attorney who represents clients in all aspects of litigation and administration of substantial trusts and estates matters including conservatorships. Ms. Roshan has significant trial and appellate experience on a variety of probate litigation matters including but not limited to fiduciary appointments and removal, accountings and surcharge and trust contest litigation. Notable recent representations include successfully challenging a trust amendment on capacity and undue influence grounds in Los Angeles Superior Court.

“I have known of Laura and her team for years and I am thrilled to now work alongside such a dynamic and talented group of attorneys,” says Roshan. “The aging baby boomers generation has resulted in a rise in inheritance disputes and litigation and I’m excited to have the support and collaboration of a dedicated team.”

In 2018, the Daily Journal named Ms. Roshan one of the Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 in the State of California and she has also been recognized by Southern California Super Lawyers for Trusts and Estates Litigation every year since 2011. Ms. Roshan is a dedicated pro-bono attorney having served as a volunteer attorney in both family law and immigration matters.  Ms. Roshan earned a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law-Boalt Hall, 2004, and a B.A. (with honors) from the University of California, Los Angeles, 2001.
