Real Estate Partner Steve Lurie Named Industrial Influencer by GlobeSt.

Real Estate Partner, Steve Lurie, has been named a 2026 Industrial Influencer by GlobeSt., recognizing him as one of the most influential figures shaping the industrial real estate industry. This marks the second time Lurie has received the honor, having also been selected as an Industrial Influencer by GlobeSt. in 2022.

GlobeSt.'s Industrial Influencer recognition honors individuals whose work has changed environments, practices, or minds within industrial real estate. Lurie was selected for the breadth and scale of his national real estate practice, which represents many of the most active developers and investors in the industrial sector, including a Fortune 20 company and the largest privately held real estate development company in the United States.

In the past year alone, Lurie served as lead lawyer on more than $3 billion in transactions across 12 states, including industrial properties. Over the past three years, he has handled more than $8 billion in real estate transactions spanning 20 states and the District of Columbia. Recent highlights include representing a developer in construction and permanent loan transactions in the last year totaling over $925 million with eight lenders for industrial properties in California, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida, and Arizona, and representing a client in a $227 million acquisition of a 50% co-tenancy interest in five industrial properties in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, along with $162 million in related financing.

Lurie is renowned for his ability to structure complex transactions and develop creative business and legal strategies to get deals done. In one notable instance, he condensed a standard 25-page limited liability company operating agreement into three pages to meet a client's unique requirement, successfully closing the deal. Clients have praised his ability to combine legal skill with business judgment. As one client put it, "Steve possesses extraordinary legal skills, coupled with a strong knowledge of the real estate industry that one might not expect from a lawyer."

Lurie's other recent recognitions include being named a Leading Lawyer in Real Estate by Chambers USA for each of the past six years, being honored by Legal 500 in its inaugural 2026 US Elite Los Angeles edition, and being named a "Commercial Real Estate Visionary" by the Los Angeles Times in 2025. He is also active in the community: his pro bono work earned him the State Bar of California's Wiley W. Manuel Pro Bono Award.
