Greenberg Glusker is proud to sponsor Concussion Legacy Foundation Canada's "Brains and Brawn" campaign. The campaign will consist of a stream-a-thon featuring different content creators each day, all discussing and raising awareness about CLFC, the impact of concussions and head injury, and the importance of brain health research. A two-day Fortnite tournament will also take place at the end of the fundraiser. The players and audience will have the opportunity to listen to a series of panels in which experts will share more about the culture of esports, the intersection of neuroscience and video games, and how to increase the overall physical health and wellness of gamers.

“Gaming creates an interesting interplay between entertainment, sports, and technology, which is why our firm is uniquely positioned to provide gamers and streamers with strategic legal support. With giving back being a major tenet of our firm’s ethos, it’s particularly encouraging to see streamers mobilize their communities on streaming platforms to take up causes that affect physical and mental well-being, some of which impact both traditional sports athletes and gamers alike,” said Brandon Jackson, an attorney in Greenberg Glusker’s Corporate, IP & Technology, and Video Games, Streaming & Esports Practice Groups.
