Greenberg Glusker Awards Book Scholarships to Diverse 1L Law Students at 7 California Law Schools

Greenberg Glusker was thrilled to host our second 1L Book Scholarship program, open to diverse first-year law students from esteemed institutions such as USC, UCLA, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Berkeley, Loyola Marymount, and Southwestern Law School. The scholarships were awarded to students who demonstrated a commitment to advancing the success of underrepresented individuals in the legal profession. 

Recognizing the historic underrepresentation of certain communities in the legal profession, Greenberg Glusker remains committed to improving diversity within our firm and the broader legal field.

The scholarship recipients were awarded $1,000 each to assist them in purchasing books and other essential academic materials. The recipients and their guests were then invited to a special event at our Century City office on November 12, 2024. The event featured a roundtable discussion on “Surviving and Thriving” as a 1L, providing invaluable insights and advice on navigating the law school experience. Attendees also had the opportunity to network with our attorneys from various practice groups.

Through both the scholarships and this event, we aim to support the next generation of legal professionals and help ensure their careers are built on a strong foundation.
