Greenberg Glusker Welcomes Real Estate and Litigation Trio

LOS ANGELES - Greenberg Glusker is pleased to welcome Barry G. Edwards (effective July 31, 2022), Gregg A. Martin, and Ann S. Lee (effective October 18, 2022) as partners to the firm. Mr. Edwards will practice in the firm’s Real Estate group, and Mr. Martin and Ms. Lee will be members of the firm’s Litigation group. Mr. Edwards and Mr. Martin have been practicing together in Los Angeles for nearly 30 years and were founding partners of Hamburg, Karic, Edwards & Martin LLP, where Ms. Lee was senior counsel.

Barry G. Edwards

Mr. Edwards focuses his practice on commercial retail leasing. Over the past 30 years, he has reviewed and negotiated thousands of leases for owners and operators of shopping centers and commercial properties in California, Arizona, and Nevada. He has experience negotiating with some of the most prominent national retailers, theatre chains, and fitness centers, as well as restaurants and fast casual companies, such as Walmart, AMC Theaters, 24-Hour Fitness, Roy’s, and Starbucks. Mr. Edwards received his J.D. from Loyola University of Los Angeles Law School and his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, Bloomington. 

Gregg A. Martin 

Mr. Martin is a litigator with an impressive track record of resolving complex business disputes in and out of court. He primarily represents businesses in the real estate industry, handling jury and non-jury trials, mediations, arbitrations, and appeals. His clients, mostly based in Southern California, are owners and operators of commercial retail spaces, office, and industrial properties. He also has experience with residential income property disputes, as well as disagreements between single-family homeowners. He earned his J.D. from Loyola University of Los Angeles Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. 

Ann S. Lee 

Ms. Lee has more than 20 years of experience in business and real estate litigation, helping clients across industries resolve disputes, assess risks, and achieve their desired outcomes. In 2015, her interest in the significant ways technology was changing business led her to obtain a CIPP/US privacy certification. Since then, Ms. Lee has advised media and technology companies on data privacy and security issues. She is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and Today’s General Counsel Institute, Data Privacy. She received her J.D. from Cornell Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
