Pete Nyquist, Partner and Chair of the Environmental Group, was interviewed on WaterWorld, discussing what a second Trump presidency means for environmental regulation, PFAS, and what regulatory change means for the industry.

Excerpts:

"In 2020, under the federal TSCA statute, the EPA promulgated a significant rule restricting the manufacturing, use, and importation of hundreds of PFAS compounds. Around the same time, under the EPA's Toxic Release Inventory program—which tracks the management of toxic chemicals that may pose a threat to health or the environment—the EPA added over 170 PFAS compounds to the list of existing chemicals, many of which have reporting requirements."
