Today's Transactions: Advisor Square Sold to Smarsh

Web and email archiving service Smarsh purchased Torrance, Calif.-based AdvisorSquare from security software maker Symantec Corp. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
This is the second deal for Smarsh this year. The Portland, Ore.-based firm picked up a web-archiving startup, Perpetually LLC, in May for an undisclosed price.
