Represented a community bank in the finance of a ground lease interest in a retail project, which included assessing and advising the client on potential contamination issues associated with the development. Represented a bank in the finance of a television and film facility, which also involved negotiating customized mixed collateral terms to secure interests in the valuable production equipment included in the deal. Negotiated our client’s equity investment in the development of a skilled-care nursing home facility in the Inland Empire of Southern California, which concurrently facilitated the release of approximately $27 million in bond financing. Represented a bank in the finance of a property being acquired as the first phase of a reverse 1031 exchange transaction. Represented a hotel investment fund in the closing of a mezzanine loan for a property in northern California.
