Sarkis Haroutunian is an attorney in Greenberg Glusker’s Real Estate Group.

Sarkis supports a broad array of clients in a variety of industries, including energy, manufacturing, oil and gas, transportation, environmental, cannabis, along with private individuals.

Representative matters include: 

  • Member of litigation team representing Eni S.p.A., an Italian multinational oil & gas company, in a series of lawsuits asserting claims for public nuisance and products liability in relation to fossil fuel companies’ alleged contribution to climate change.
  • Member of litigation team representing Occidental Research Corporation and Glenn Springs Holdings, Inc. in a CERCLA and RCRA action, seeking cost recovery and injunctive relief.  Case is set for trial in September 2018 in federal district court.
  • Assisting various clients in regulatory matters involving oversight, investigative or enforcement proceedings with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region IX, the California Department of Toxic Substances Control Board, and California Regional Water Quality Control Boards.

He graduated with honors from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he was a Senior Submissions Editor for the Southern California Law Review and a member of USC Gould’s Mediation Clinic. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California with an undergraduate degree in Political Science, and minors in Accounting and English.
