Jackman Location: Los Angeles County Bar Association Potential human health risks resulting from the migration of subsurface contaminants to indoor air, a scenario commonly referred to as “vapor intrusion,” are common drivers for environmental site assessment, remediation, and case re-openings. Revisions to the State of California regulatory guidance for vapor intrusion studies are pending, and they may result in a significant increase in the number of projects requiring further evaluation and a substantive shift in the technical approaches applied at those facilities.
