Sky Moore, Partner in the firm's Tax Group, shared his insights with Law360 regarding the U.S. Supreme Court's upholding of the federal repatriation tax.

Sky Moore, a partner at Greenberg Glusker Fields Claman & Machtinger LLP who wasn't involved with the case, said Moore shouldn't factor into state policies because the case centered on the U.S. Constitution's apportionment requirement.

"It's purely a U.S. constitutional issue that states aren't subject to," he said.
