Crist Malekyan is an Associate in the Private Client Services Group.
Crist's practice spans a wide range of domestic and cross-border tax matters. He advises high net-worth individuals, families, and family offices with tax-efficient planning strategies, generational wealth transfer, business succession, and the structuring of complex assets and investment vehicles.
Prior to joining Greenberg Glusker, Crist practiced in the tax group of an Am Law 100 firm, where he advised on the tax aspects of complex mergers and acquisitions, debt financings, and investment fund transactions.
Earlier in his career, Crist served as a vice president in the project finance division of a global financial institution, where he managed a portfolio of complex project finance, tax equity, lease, and mezzanine transactions. In that role, he conducted financial and asset due diligence, developed financial models for equity and structured debt investments, and conducted credit reviews.
Crist began his career as an auditor with a leading international accounting firm and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. He received his J.D. from Loyola Law School, where he was honored with the Gregory W. Goff Award for the highest achievement in the tax law.
