Ira Steinberg practices at the frontlines of consumer claims and class action defense. He is best known for representing top fashion and beauty brands, food and beverage companies, and international consumer goods retailers in cases involving data privacy practices, false advertising, and disability access. Steinberg is extensively familiar with statutes such as California’s CIPA and the Federal Wiretap Act, which have recently been at the center of increased litigation in claims involving Meta Pixel and other tracking technologies. He has also been at the forefront of litigation involving the Video Privacy Protection Act, as clients in the media and content space grapple with exposure and risk in the age of TikTok integrations.
