Ryan R. Worrell

Ryan Worrell is Counsel in the Entertainment Group.

Ryan advises actors, writers, directors, producers, creators, production companies, and rightsholders on a broad range of business and legal matters related to film, television, new media, publishing, reality/alternative programming, and digital media.

Drawing on experience in private practice as well as senior in-house legal and business affairs roles, he counsels clients on content development, production, licensing, endorsements, distribution, intellectual property rights, content exploitation, and strategic business initiatives. Ryan negotiates complex agreements across scripted, unscripted, and digital media and provides practical, business-oriented advice informed by his experience representing talent, production companies, studios, and rightsholders.

Ryan is an active member of the legal education community, teaching Entertainment Law at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and the University of Wisconsin Law School. He has also taught Contract Drafting at UCLA School of Law.
