Greenberg Glusker employment law partner, Karina Sterman, will present on the panel "Employment Litigation Following the Workplace Investigation" during the Los Angeles County Bar Association's "Workplace Investigations: How to Do 'em & What Can Go Wrong?" event on May 4, 2024.

This panel will examine how investigations fare under scrutiny of discovery and litigation. Panelists will share their experiences when investigations went awry and, more importantly, offer strategies to prevent such errors. Discussion topics will include issues of discovery, privilege, and confidentiality in a litigation setting.

Karina Sterman's practice includes representing businesses in wage and hour class action and PAGA lawsuits as well as in discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other employment disputes. While she regularly represents companies in administrative proceedings, she leverages her significant experience in “behind the scenes” counseling to avoid or resolve pending claims. Karina counsels on wage and hour and other employment law compliance, drafts employment-related documents, and engages in business-minded employment strategy. Karina is a published author, sought-after speaker on employment and intellectual property law, and has been consistently recognized by her peers in Southern California Super Lawyers. She is Chair of Los Angeles County Bar Association's Diversity in the Profession Committee and hosts the HR Bites employment law webinar series.
