Corporate, Finance & Securities
- Associate with 4-6 years of experience in preparing primary transaction documents in sophisticated transactions representing both buyers and sellers, and in equity financing transactions. Any experience in fund formation is a plus. Salary range: $230,000 - $255,000 per year
Employment
- Associate or Counsel with 3-7 years of experience in employment litigation (FEHA, wrongful term, breach of contract, wage and hour, class/PAGA) and experience and/or serious interest in employment counseling and transactional work. Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience in employment litigation defense, with experience in counseling and transactional work preferred but strong interest accepted
- Experience must include federal and California employment law and admission to CA state and federal district courts
- Litigation experience representing employers in single-plaintiff in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters and in class and representative (PAGA) actions
- Experience drafting motions and oppositions and drafting and responding to discovery required
- Experience taking depositions and arguing motions preferred
- Excellent academic credentials and references
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in client-driven practice
- Required in office full days Tuesday-Thursday
Salary range: $220,000 - 265,000 per year
Environmental
- Associate with 4-6 years of experience. The successful candidate will have exceptional research, writing and analytical skills, eager to meet intellectual challenges, a strong desire to learn, and the passion to excel on behalf of our clients. All of our attorneys in the environmental group are litigators so a strong interest and experience in litigation is important. The candidate will be responsible for representing clients in complex environmental litigation as well as counseling and representation in pre-litigation, compliance, administrative enforcement, and real estate/diligence matters. Knowledge of and at least some work experience with the statutes, regulations and common law applicable to soil and groundwater contamination, water quality, air quality and/or climate change is very helpful, but not necessary for the right candidate. Salary range: $230,000 - $255,000 per year
Real Estate
- Associate with 5-8 years of experience in drafting and negotiating real estate construction contracts. Salary range: $245,000 - $275,000 per year
Tax
- Associate with 4-8 years of experience dealing with compensation and benefit matters, with a particular emphasis on IRC Section 409A and 280G, and a desire to expand their tax practice to include corporate and partnership tax. Salary range: $230,000 - $275,000 per year
