October 31, 2023 at 2:30pm3:45pm (CEST)
IBA Annual Conference, Paris, France

Laura Zwicker, Chair of Greenberg Glusker's Private Client Services practice, will present on the panel "Rich and losing it: capacity issues in high net worth planning" at the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference Paris 2023 on Tuesday, October 31.

This panel will address the complexities associated with incapacity for high net worth individuals in the cross-border context. Panelists will discuss both the ramifications of little or no planning in the event of incapacity, as well as appropriate documentation in advance of the loss of capacity. Panelists will explore strategies associated with incapacity in their jurisdiction as it may relate to assets, accounts, or other property interests.

Laura Zwicker's practice focuses primarily on counseling ultra-high net worth individuals and their families in connection with domestic and international estate and tax planning issues and business succession planning; advising financial institutions with regard to fiduciary and custodial issues; forming, advising and dissolving non-profit organizations; and probate and post-death trust administration.
