Biography
Cole Nicholas is an associate in the Bankruptcy, Reorganization, and Capital Recovery Group, focusing on transactional and litigation matters.
He represents debtors, trustees, and creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 actions, as well as out-of-court restructurings. His experience includes drafting and analyzing pleadings, settlement agreements, and reorganization and liquidation plans in adversarial bankruptcy and related proceedings.
Cole earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Sheri Bluebond and as a Summer Law Clerk for the Debtor Assistance Project at Public Counsel. Before law school, he worked as a member of the Community Engagement and Outreach Team in the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and served as a legislative intern for U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein.
