LOS ANGELES - Greenberg Glusker is pleased to announce the addition of Noah Perch-Ahern as a partner in the firm’s Environmental Department. Mr. Perch-Ahern has a broad national environmental and energy practice consisting of high stakes litigation, complex transactions, regulatory matters, and development projects. 

“Noah is a next generation leader of environmental lawyers,” says Pete Nyquist, partner and Chair of Greenberg Glusker’s Environmental Practice Group. “Noah has sharp skills and a firm grasp of what companies need when there are sharply disputed environmental issues, whatever the setting.” 

Benchmark Litigation named Mr. Perch-Ahern to its 2018 ‘40 & Under Hot List,’ and he was also recognized as the 2018 ‘Next Generation Lawyer of the Year’ by the Century City Bar Association. He is also recognized as one of the Southern California Super Lawyer ‘Rising Stars’.

His experience includes jury and bench trials relating to contaminated land, water resources, and water rights, litigation involving CERCLA, the Clean Water Act, and public utilities, NEPA and CEQA compliance strategies for renewable energy and industrial expansion projects, and compliance and regulatory counseling related to a large variety of energy and environmental matters such as air quality, wetlands, brownfields, cap and trade markets, and clean tech projects.

Perch-Ahern’s accomplishments in the environmental and energy industries are reflected by his professional leadership, including from his role as President of Young Professionals in Energy Los Angeles, his membership on the Boards of the Southern California Water Coalition (SCWC),  Valley Industry and Commerce Association (VICA), and TreePeople, and his Chair responsibilities for VICA’s Environmental, Energy and Utilities Committee and Los Angeles Areas Chamber of Commerce’s Water, Energy & Environmental Sustainability Council.

Mr. Perch-Ahern graduated from Tulane University with a J.D., magna cum laude, and University of New Hampshire with a B.A. degree, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
